Siam Technology College (STC)
Siam Technology College (STC) is a private higher education institution established in Bangkok in 2006, under the guidance of the Ministry of Education of Thailand. STC offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in key areas such as engineering, technologies (computer, aviation and energy), business administration, accountancy, public administration and health sciences.
Currently, STC offers international programs for bachelor degrees in International Business Management (IBM), Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) and in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
Recently, for the academic year 2019, STC joins hand with the Lamar University (LU) of Texas, USA to offer a dual degree program comprising LU’s Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Leadership and STC’s Bachelor of Business Administration. Students of this program will receive both degrees upon their graduation. In addition, they can benefit from spending one to four semesters at the LU in Texas and taking part in a 5-month work and travel program in the USA.
Under the leadership of the President, Associate Professor Pornpisud Mongkhonvanit, STC is working to make a difference and for excellence in academic, research and innovation. With a view to taking its international visibility to a new height, STC has been working with its international partners such as the University of New South Wales (UNSW) of Australia, the Moscow Region State University (MRSU) of the Russian Federation, and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), among others, in undertaking joint research, student exchange and short academic courses.
