Dear AMAUT members,
On behalf of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) for holding various meaningful activities for the benefit of its members, as well as Myanmar students at large, since its establishment in 2016. Although the planned activities of last year were postponed due to the COVID-19 situation.
The Royal Thai Embassy attaches high importance to Myanmar’s human resource development through a variety of capacity-building programs and training, together with possibility of networking. We truly believe that education provides vast opportunities, which is key in bridging the income gap, reducing poverty and inequality, thus strengthening communities, and contributing to the sustainable development of the country in all aspects and at all levels.
I wish AMAUT every success in its endeavor.
