Bromsgrove International School Thailand is a privately owned independent institution which uses the name Bromsgrove under license from Bromsgrove School UK.

Bromsgrove School in England was established in 1553 and is a top co-educational day and boarding school in the British Midlands.

We are the only school outside England that carries the prestigious Bromsgrove name.

This affiliation allows us to have a successful blend between the east and the west.
Other memberships include Education Development Trust (EDT), Council of International Schools, International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT). Boarding Schools Association (BSA), Thailand International Schools Activities Conference (TISAC) and International Award for Young Learners.

The school is an accredited Examination Centre by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Edexel and AQA.

Two purpose-built campuses

Bromsgrove is unique in its picturesque Thai setting offering two specialist campuses on the outskirts of Bangkok, both in close proximity to Suvarnabhumi International Airport:

The Early Years Campus for children aged from 2 to 6 years, situated on the very accessible Ramkamhaeng 164 Road;
The Windsor Park Campus for children aged from 6 to 18 years, situated in its own landscaped grounds, and adjacent to a 36 hole golf course, making us ‘home’ to some world-class junior golfers!

Curriculum

Following the best of British traditions, we offer an appropriate and challenging programme of study, based upon the National Curriculum for England, whilst incorporating the flexibility to effectively respond to global change. Our students ultimately take IGCSE, AS, A level examinations, and we also offer the BTEC qualification. These options open doors to universities worldwide.

House System, After-school activities and Pastoral Care

The robust academic programme is supported by a strong pastoral system, which nurtures and enables each student to achieve their maximum potential.

In addition to the wide range of after-school activities, our House system encourages healthy competition between
students at all levels.

Partnership between parents and school

Bromsgrove is a school where internationally-minded and culturallyaware students are encouraged to pursue both academic excellence and personal development, thus enabling them to take a leading role in tomorrow’s ever-changing global community: Through the partnership of child, parent and school we can and will make a real difference.

Teacher selection and qualifications

At Bromsgrove, all our teachers are appropriately qualified with a degree and teaching qualification. Our teachers are mostly recruited from the UK with some from other native-English speaking countries like Australia, USA and Canada. We also have specialist teachers teaching Thai, Chinese and Korean all highly qualified to deliver the best education and opportunities to our students.

International Students and Class sizes

Our students consist of over 27 nationalities; 50% of which come from other countries in the region and the world. Class sizes at BIST are relatively small when compared to many other international schools in Bangkok.
